A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is a document that contains information on the potential hazards (health, fire, reactivity and environmental) and how to work safely with the chemical product. It is intended to tell what the hazards of the product are, how to use the product safely, what to expect if the recommendations are not followed, what to do if accidents occur, how to recognize symptoms of overexposure, and what to do if such incidents occur.
Competitors use tea tree oil in their formula which can be strong scented and irritating to the skin, whereas Cool Blaze with Aloe Vera is odorless and gentle on skin. Cool blaze gel is higher in viscosity allowing for the gel to stay on the skin better and provide long lasting cooling. Cool Blaze dressings employ an open foam technology which acts as a reliable carrier of the gel ensuring it is always on the surface of skin affected by burn. Our clear formula also allows for continuous unobstructed wound care management after the application of product.
Yes, all of our products have expiration dates to insure product quality and efficiencies. The expiration date is shown on the packaging and is listed just above the lot number. All of our products have a five year shelf life.
Medical attention is always advised in cases of burn injury or smoke inhalation and should be sought as soon as possible after an injury occurs. A good rule of thumb is if the burn injury is larger than your hand or if the skin is broken, seek medical attention.

No. Cool Blaze is a medical device, which, as a class of products, contains no active ingredient. Aloe Vera is a natural plant extract and is not considered by the FDA as a drug.
Aloe Vera has been used for over 2,000 years on burns and open wounds. The natural plant extract contains many vitamins and minerals essential in the promotion of healthy skin regeneration.
Cool Blaze with Aloe Vera introduces the first real change to hydro-gels for burns in over 20 years. Cool Blaze Products Inc. has completely re-worked the gel formula keeping the 95% water base and wetting agents that have proven effective burn relief while adding viscosity which helps keep the gel on the wound. We have eliminated the Tea Tree Oil and added the natural plant extract Aloe Vera Gel. Cool Blaze with Aloe Vera cools, soothes and moisturizes the skin after a burn. It is a must have item for home, workplace and industrial First Aid Kits.
